Michael defeats Satan

In one of my posts, I gave a detailed explanation of the 9 signs that show your destiny has been swapped or stolen. If you have not read that one, kindly check this article out. You may not appreciate what you will read here if you have not read that one.
Our consideration in this post is to give you a detailed guide on how to recover whatever destiny that wicked people and Satan have stolen from you. The Bible provides us with the tools and strategies we can always use to restore our spiritual deformities. Here are the practical steps you can take to recover your God-given destiny:
1. Repentance and Surrender to God Impact Your Destiny
Start by confessing your sins and surrendering your life to Jesus Christ. Sin is the most potent tool that open the door for spiritual attacks. Repentance closes that door and aligns you with God’s will.
- Scripture: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
2. Engage in Fervent Prayer – Destiny Recovery Requires This A Lot
Prayer is a powerful tool for spiritual warfare. Cry out to God and ask Him to restore what has been stolen. Target your prayers specifically against destiny manipulators. Use midnights and morning times to pray.
- Scripture: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).
3. Break Curses and Covenants
Renounce and break any ungodly covenants or curses that may have opened doors for spiritual manipulation. Speak life and blessings over yourself.
- Scripture: “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us…” (Galatians 3:13).
4. Engage in Fasting
Fasting amplifies your prayers and helps you focus on God. It also weakens the grip of spiritual forces that may be holding you back.
- Scripture: “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness…” (Isaiah 58:6).
5. Use the Word of God
Speak God’s promises over your life. This means you should direct your demand to whatever spirit that is holding your destiny. Mention the promises God made to His children to that regard and command the demon to release your destiny immediately. The Word of God is a weapon that defeats the enemy.

- Scripture: “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…” (Hebrews 4:12).
- Scripture: Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. (Isaiah 49:24, 25).
6. Seek Deliverance
Sometimes, spiritual issues require the help of an anointed minister. Seek deliverance prayers from a trusted, Spirit-filled pastor or church. You can confide in a brother or a sister for a joint prayer thrust. You should gather at a place and commit yourselves to intense prayers. The result cannot manifest after one or two prayer meetings. Continue until you begin to notice a change in your life, even when the others have retired, leaving you alone. This should be at intervals, day in day out.
- Scripture: “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons…” (Mark 16:17).
7. Live a Life of Holiness
Walking in obedience to God ensures that the enemy has no foothold in your life. Strive to live in purity and righteousness. Once you break a hedge, the Bible insists, a serpent will bite. (Ecclesiastes 10: 8).
- Scripture: “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).
8. Praise and Worship
Praise invites God’s presence and scatters the enemy. Worship shifts the atmosphere and brings breakthroughs. My dear, in my opinion, nothing brings you closer to God like intentional and devotional worship.
- Scripture: “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand…” (Psalm 149:6).

9. Invite the Holy Spirit to Guide You
The Holy Spirit is our helper. Ask Him to reveal hidden things about you and lead you back to your true path.
- Scripture: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things…” (John 14:26).
10. Restore Relationships Where Necessary

Sometimes, unresolved conflicts or unforgiveness can block your destiny from manifesting. Take time and think deeply to find out people you have not settled any difference with. Seek reconciliation and release those who have hurt you. This means you should forgive and ask to be forgiven.
- Scripture: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32).
Final Thoughts Your destiny is precious, and God has a plan for your life that no enemy can permanently destroy. By taking these spiritual steps, you can recover what has been stolen and walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for you. Remember, you are victorious through Christ Jesus!
